The new 18th edition wiring regulations and the safe use and operation of electrical equipment and systems is now available to enrol book.
Due to the availability of the 18th edition books the first course is due to start on Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th July.
These regulations are recognised by the British Standards Institute as a British Standard (BS7671).
About this level
This level will suit all learners who are a practising electrician with specific qualifications and who needs to update their certification to meet the latest edition of the IEE Wiring Regulations. This will also be required if you are working in an apprenticeship capacity, or working as a Domestic installer. The prerequisites for the 2 day course is that you must have already completed either the 17th edition 17th edition 1st, 2nd or 3rd amendment BS7671 Qualification.
There are no other prerequisites for the full 2 day qualification course
18th Edition – Level 3 Award in Requirements for Electrical Installations (BS 7671)
Duration: 2 days including e-volve examination (City & Guilds Online open book exam)
Number of questions: 60 (2 hour online exam)
Qualification: City & Guilds 18th Edition Certificate in the Requirements for electrical Installations
NOTE: New 18th edition wiring regs books are available to use free of charge. A refundable £60.00 deposit will be required. Please advise a member of staff when booking the course if required.
