The 2391-50 training course is aimed at practising electricians who have not carried out inspection and testing since qualifying or who require some update of training before going on to other City & Guilds qualifications.

The 2391-50 training course is delivered over week days and Weekends.

The 2391-50 qualification is also suitable for those with limited experience of initial inspection of electrical installations, such as those entering the industry from other engineering disciplines or who have been working in allied trades.

The 2391-50 qualification prepares candidates for the initial verification of electrical installation work up 3 phase.

What are the 2391-50 qualifications about?
The 2391-50 qualification helps you to develop the knowledge and practical skills needed to professionally design and install or inspect and test electrical installations.

The 2391-50 training course is ideal for qualified electricians wishing to update their knowledge of electrical installation techniques and legislation.

What opportunities for progression are there?
It allows candidates to progress into employment or to the following City & Guilds qualifications:

  • Level 3 Award in Periodic Inspection, Testing and Certification of Electrical Installations (2391-51)
  • Level 4 Award in the Design and Verification of Electrical Installations (2396)
  • ILM management and leadership qualifications

PLEASE NOTE: The 2391-50 training course delivery is theory side only and includes written, on-line exams and practical assessment. For delegates requiring practical training, we offer an additional 1 day Practical training course.

9.00am to 5.00pm over 2 weekends / or mid-week. please check above option

  • 2 hour inspection & test on main rig
