Electrical Engineer

AM2 assessment is a practical assessment with a short online component, taken over 16.5 hours in total. During this time candidates undertake a series of timed tasks in specially equipped booths containing typical electrical installation wiring systems. The exercises include installation, inspection and testing and fault-finding and the work must comply with the current IEE Wiring Regulations and be carried out in line with Health & Safety best practice. AM2 assessment is the Assessment of Occupational Competence for candidates in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. (Scottish candidates see FICA)

AM2D (First attempt)

This EPA reflects the additional content of the revised apprenticeship standard and includes a 19-hour practical assessment, 90 min scenario-based interview and 90 min knowledge test.

AM2ED (First attempt) (Experienced Worker Assessment)
Price charged from 1st April 2024 £1300 + VAT.
This EPA reflects the additional content of the revised apprenticeship standard and includes a 19-hour practical assessment, and 90 min knowledge test.

AM2/S/E/D PREP 1 DAY (First attempt)
Old price charged up to 31st March 2024 £175.00 + VAT ( £210 inc VAT – New price charged from 1st April 2024 £185.00 + VAT (£222.00 inc VAT)

Section A bay units

2: – Previous Section A Build Lighting circuit and Ring Final circuit (2.25hrs)
3: – SWA and Motor circuit (2.25hrs)
4: – Central Heating (2hrs)
5: – Bonding, Data, and safety circuit FP200 (2hrs)
6: – Containment AM2S/E only (1.5hrs)
